The Huian Pumped Storage Power Station in Fujian is a major national energy infrastructure project designed to enhance peak-shaving capability and strengthen grid stability. Located in the mountainous region of Zhangzhou, the project presents challenging geological and environmental conditions, demanding highly reliable and efficient equipment for tunnel excavation and support operations.
The China Water Resources and Hydropower No.14 Engineering Bureau is responsible for the C2 section, where drilling, blasting, mucking, shotcreting, and support operations must be carried out in continuous cycles. To ensure smooth progress and high construction efficiency, the project team selected Aivyter Drill Jumbo (AZK-125) and Aivyter Shotcrete Spraying Machine (AWT-3016F) as key equipment for tunnel construction.
